Arts Appreciation Programs

American Midwest Ballet’s student matinees include Momentum, an energetic exploration of ballet that takes the stage every fall to showcase the artistry and athleticism of ballet right here and now. During the winter, their holiday favorite, The Nutcracker, transports thousands of students every year to a fantastical dreamland with a classical story that ballet was built to tell. Cost: $5 per child | $10 per adult | Title I schools free Free digital translations of these productions are also available for synchronous or asynchronous learners during 2020-2021. AMB also hosts workshops, with professional artist-educators visiting schools or building virtual connections that bring the joy of kinesthetic and artistic learning to students wherever they are.
